Loving the Tiger Blood in Charlie Sheen
I recently watched Sheen's live interview and his webcast and believe it to all be a marketing ploy on his behalf to promote his new tour, which quickly booked at $75 on the low end for a ticket across the nation. The question still being asked by many is what is in store next for Sheen, and after following him on his new Twitter account have to say that with the new intern he hires for promotional savvy we are sure to see something interesting. I for one am interested in his "winning" attitude and will stay glued to the tube for some time as long as I can follow more than his latest tweet.

On Charlie Sheen's Addictions
Not everyone can understand addiction. The fact is you either have an addictive nature or you don't. Others who don't have this nature don't understand because they don't know what it's like to over enjoy something. That's what addicts do. There is just something in them that says it's too good to stop. While others are commenting on yahoo and other sites about Charlie's problems and that he's out of control. I've decided to blog from the perspective of the other side of the coin. Although I don't know Charlie personally I can sympathize with his problems.
You can substitute the addiction and you can put it on hold, but the nature of over enjoyment will always be there. I just hope he can find a way to over enjoy something that won't put him in a body bag. I'd much rather enjoy new episodes of Two and a Half Men or whatever his next acting leap may be than to see that on TV. He's an amazing actor and it shows thru his dedication to his work outside of what happens in his personal life.
There are a lot of addicts; whether it be food, alcohol, drugs, or shoes and just because they have a problem most of them hide it very well because they are so good at what they do. Most of the addicts I know are perfectionists who carry the burdens of everyone else on their shoulders for the majority of time and find a brief release in the over enjoyment of their addiction.
For Sheen to pop up in the tabloids once in 10 years for his problem he's hid it well. Think of how much he's exposed to public viewing. Think of the pressures to meet script deadlines and to perfect his character so that others can enjoy watching him on the screen. Not to mention the pressures of being the best in a family of famous directors and actors, setting himself apart from his brother Emilio and dad Martin. Or to be a husband when the women he's with only care about his money and fame. If I were him I'd drop off the map for awhile and forget about rehab. He has enough money to really enjoy life. He should take off to a remote paradise somewhere and spend six months on an island away from his contacts just enjoying the sun, the sailing, and the peace and quiet of me time. That's what I would do if the shoe was on the other foot.
